Our Educational Philosophy
We believe financial literacy starts with mathematical clarity. Most financial decisions in India — such as choosing between paying off a home loan early versus investing in a SIP, or sizing an emergency fund — can be understood clearly when broken down into hypothetical scenario calculations and transparent trade-off analyses.
We do not accept commission kickbacks from asset management companies, insurance distributors, or lending institutions. Our tools use published formulas and neutral parameters so you can evaluate options independently.
Calculator Methodology & Sources
Our quantitative calculators utilize standard compound interest, internal rate of return (XIRR), and loan amortization formulas. All underlying assumptions (such as expected rate of return or inflation rate) are customizable by the user and clearly displayed.
Educational content on MicroInvestments is researched against official regulatory and government publications, including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), Income Tax Department, PFRDA, and EPFO.
